Order 9914 Complete!
Customer sent in an NEC Super CDRom2 for repair. Corroded via was causing spindle motor issue and no disc read. Fully recapped the system, cleaned shell and optical drive and bypassed via, it works great now!
Also gave it a deep clean, check it out 👇

The OSD Menu is neat! Also only 1 jumper to worry about but the lack of V5 info especially around exp audio is a bummer

Repairs are done on 1983 Sony WM-10. This was Sony showing off - the size of a tape case & must be expanded to play. Runs off 1 AA batt. The engineering that went into this is crazy.
