Former PUP leader Brian Ervine has been leading tours exploring the rich Gaelic history and place names of east Belfast, an area he says contains more Irish language place names than anywhere else in the city.
Standing at the site of Castle Reagh, once home to Gaelic lord Con O'Neill, Ervine told The Irish News that rediscovering this shared heritage could help build reconciliation between communities, noting: "A language can be a language of reconciliation, rather than a language of division."
