Just spoke to Tounde Yessoufou.
A few notes:
- Called it a "no-brainer" to pick St. John's when he decided to pull out of the draft.
-- During NBA Combine, he got to meet Zuby Ejiofor, DIllon Mitchell and Bryce Hopkins. All lobbied for him to go to St. John's if he opted not to go to the NBA. Yessoufou could tell how much they enjoyed their time in Queens.
-- UCLA, Louisville and Kentucky were Yessoufou's other suitors.
-- Yessoufou said he decided not to go to NBA because he wanted to set himself up for success there, and didn't think he was completely ready.
