This figure is another result from @Revolt_Assault @thestudentroom 2018 study with 4,500 respondents from 153 UK educational Institutions. 62% have experienced sexual harassment and 54% have experienced sexual assault.

This was a tough story to cover. I spoke to students who were sexually assaulted and raped at uni but felt they had to go to Twitter to call out the alleged rapists because not enough was being done. Have a listen if you can.

Experiencing sexual violence as a student has a long and lasting impact on the survivor, an impact that is only exacerbated by sexual assault and harassment being a ‘normal’ part of university culture, and not knowing anything about how or where to seek support.
