When we last saw each other in November, it was a bitter sweet goodbye. We had to thank Hachifusa for helping bring Kamen America to Japan through his artwork, but we became good friends and didn’t know if we’d see each other again. Las Vegas felt like a sequel to that, and an indicator that we will meet again and often. It is only fitting that so many things are taking shape from a city known for gambling: we have always bet on ourselves, took measured risks, and had faith in talented underdogs. Let’s keep doing our best!

This is the after math of several days of hard work lol

フーバーダム観光からホテルに帰ってきまして、今は5月22日、16:30です。夕食までまだ時間があります。 エリックさんは初日からの足の痛みもあってホテルで休養して頂いていましたが、帰宅後すぐにマーク先生が、ほどなくしてティム先生も眠ってしまわれました。 お二人ともエキスポでは仮面アメリカの原作者として、IPホルダーとして、今後の自分たちのコンテンツの発展を背負う立場で全力を尽くされていたのを三日間、僕は間近で見てきました。 その上、初の単独で海外に滞在する僕に対して、片時も気を抜かずにケアをしてくださっていました。 お二人とも本当にお疲れなのだと思います。 そんな事を考えながら僕だけ起きていて、エリックさん含めて3人の大きな寝息を聞きながらiPadで絵を描いています。

今朝はコーンフロスティはお休みです。 初日からエリックさんが持ってたシュリンプ・スナックをつまみました。 これ、その名の通り、日本でもよく食べるあの「えびせん」です。かっぱえびせんではなく、えびスナックとかの商標の。そのまま全く同じ味がします。こんなところになぜか故郷の味です。
