Did you know we don't just sample for grain moisture?   Throughout the season, we collect a number of different samples for analysis.

Preparation for next season's crop is already underway at RAAPL with beds formed and vetch planted. Everything from soil nutrition and irrigation systems to paddock layouts, play a part in the success of the season and it's never too early to start thinking about it. Driving around the Riverina you can see the transition of rice crops throughout the season, from the telltale ponded paddocks to vibrant green fields that soon change to golden.
