I don’t think I ever actually met this guy, but I remember him dancing in front of our stage every time that we played Cicero’s in St. Louis in the early 90s. So I guess he was around 40 at the time…He had that same exact look then. I remember their pizza, the low ceiling & him.

Sad to hear that Beatle Bob, the St.Louis “dancing” music icon, has passed at 70 yrs old after a lengthy battle with ALS.
They say “If you find Beatle Bob dancing at your set, it was a good sign that your band is doing all right.”

No amount of “good ol’ boys raised up right” would’ve made a bit of difference. If anything, response time would’ve been longer as the “small town” police force is calling for back up.
