This week we acknowledge actress and inventor Hedy Lamarr. Inducted into the National Inventors Hall of Fame in 2014, her invention of “frequency hopping” helped pave the way for modern-day Wi-Fi and other wireless tech.

Happy 458th birthday to Galileo Galilei! Born in Pisa, Italy, Galileo was the first to aim a telescope into the night sky. Through his lens, he saw the four largest moons of Jupiter, and the Galilean moons were the first objects found to orbit a planet other than Earth.

Chris' QUIC talk is the best I have seen. Now that QUIC is used on many platforms learning this protocol will be critical for analysts moving forward. #wireshark

That’s not stated quite right. They don’t actually evaluate whether or not there’s enough SNR to decide and then make a decision. Rather, they can either decode the incoming signal, or not. If they CAN decode it, they MUST continue until it completes or has an error.

If you are keeping score, Wi-Fi 6E will require you to deploy 2 new SSID's due to the rigid security requirements of 11ax. Only WPA3 and OWE are allowed, so how will you support those clients when they use 2.4/5 without adding SSID's to those bands?
