Overnight: A 17-year-old boy was shot and killed in the heart of Downtown Pittsburgh's Cultural District.
Officers were called to Penn Ave and 7th Street at 12:15 am to reports of a shooting, per PGH Public Safety.
It's next to the Benedum Center.

The 17-year-old boy had been shot in the chest. He died at the hospital.
One person was detained and taken to police HQ for questioning but no arrests have been made, per Pittsburgh Public Safety. @KDKA
The death of a Haitian asylum seeker just days after she was released from ICE custody has been ruled a homicide.
Daphy Michel was found on the ground at a Pittsburgh bus shelter in March. She died from hypothermia, the ME said.
Her family's lawyer blames ICE.

Medical Examiner: "The opinion of the forensic pathologist in this case is that Ms. Michel was a vulnerable adult, suffering from untreated severe mental health issues and a significant language barrier when she was released from federal custody."

3 planes were damaged and a hanger was destroyed in yesterday’s storms at the Mount Pleasant-Scottdale Airport in Fayette County.
The nearby Scottdale Borough has declared a disaster emergency.

Not only did severe storms cause part of a tree to fall on this home in Fayette County - the entire home lifted off its foundation - moving a few feet.
Two people inside told us while it was frightening, they’re ok.
“It was like being in a funhouse,” the homeowner said. @KDKA

Morgan Wallen's concert tonight in Pittsburgh, the second this weekend, has been canceled due to the threat of severe weather.
"Safety for my fans and crew is the highest priority," Wallen wrote.
