Teachers from across the District recently gathered for the Superintendent’s Teacher Leadership Forum, where campus Teachers of the Year met with Superintendent Dr. Ken Gregorski and District leaders to share feedback and discuss topics impacting classrooms.
Greatness is less about an event or outcome, and more about a process. And the process is often boring.
It's a commitment to being brilliant in the basics, to showing up every day to get a little bit better, to being accountable to the standard.
Convenience is about showing up when you feel like it, when you’re told to, when you’re motivated to.
Commitment is about showing up when you don’t feel like it, when it isn’t convenient, because you care, because it’s who you are.
Do the work.
Why You Should Do Hard Things:
1. Hard things test your limits.
2. Hard things build resilience.
3.Hard things teach you discipline.
The path of least resistance leads nowhere.
The road that challenges you is the one that changes you.
There is a penalty for being afraid no one talks about.....
Fear suppresses talent, sure.... but it also suppresses chances.
You will take less shots on goal & make yourself less likely to have the life you want.
Don't let an emotion keep you from a great life.
