I appreciate your tone quest just using amp. I add a little tube preamp for light overdrive and fine tuning tone.
No experience with Vox, mainly Fender. Yours looks good.

Picked up my Sunn Sceptre amp from a closed shop. Guy started it then had family issues. Have someone more qualified to work on it anyway. Look at the massive power and output transformers. Loudddddd.

Been a while but wanted to show the addition of a Epiphone P90 to a Vox Typhoon bridge position. Original PU didn't work well. Had good luck with Epi Probucker so tried the 90. Installation was a bit tough but used extra Vox pickup mounting ring. Worked

2/With elect guitar strings, front PU is light and airy. Almost 12 string quality. Bridge, strong & aggressive. After trying different combinations, it sounds best through modified Blues Jr III as amp going into EVM 12Ls. Gives neck PU an acoustic quality, P90 a nice growl.

Its almost like the 2nd Amd is all of a sudden conditional for these "Conservative" Republicans.
This killing of Alex Pretti reveals a dark truth about the administration's view of gun rights: they are not universal. They are reserved for the "right" kind of people. If you are a MAGA supporter, your gun is a symbol of freedom. If you are a protester in Minneapolis, your gun is proof of terrorism.
The "right to bear arms" has been replaced by the "privilege to bear arms," contingent on political alignment. This is the hallmark of a militia state, not a constitutional republic.

🧵1/What the unfortunate killing in Minneapolis shows, beside the killing instincts of ICE officers in that city, is the complete and utter hypocrisy of NRA & other gun rights organizations. Victim was armed per law and 2nd Amd. As such rights advocates promote.

1/Replaced the pick guard, pots and knobs of my Gretsch Corvette a few yrs ago but made the output jack positive arm too light and finally fixed it. For those who don't know. This was a 60s "student" guitar. Solid mahogany in SG like shape & weight.

2/ Instead of P90 midrange growl single coil, or ice pick sharpness of others, HiLotron single coil has wide range-clear response without sharpness. My brightwork is corroded & Burns tremolo tailpiece works fine. The offset headstock is distinctive. Glad its now better.
