When I speak to kids/adults about online trolls, I don't refer to them as bullies. I refer to them as arsonists. Here's why.

As a school librarian, I am a teacher, AND I have a Master's degree -actually 2.
Our certified librarians have at least two years of mandated classroom teaching, multiple school librarian certification courses, and a master's degree. Now this is what we called highly qualified! #TxASL

What a great week @RoundRockISD @RidgeviewMS! IDs out to almost every student on the FIRST DAY of school. Then,@goodbooklady started orientation. AWESOME to welcome in new 6th graders and a few 8th graders. Cannot wait to welcome in rest of 6th and 7th next week. #librariesrrock

I have a new Student. She’s beautiful, lost & seems angry. Struggling here & home seems hard. She’s not “soft”, staff is unsure. But today during our break, I found her hiding the book & reading my Concrete Rose.
