If a player doesn’t play hard all the time, no skill they bring to the table can offset that. Playing hard is a prerequisite to playing. Period. Nobody succeeds by making half an effort. Make sure your players understand that laziness is unacceptable. Competing to WIN is a skill!

Last high school game in the books. Grateful for the opportunity to compete for Hoover and to make a run all the way to the championship. Falling short of the ring hurts, but it only fuels my drive to keep pushing and take this game to the next level.
Thank you to Hoover High, my teammates, coaches, trainers, and everyone who ever came to a game or supported me along the way. Basketball is my passion and it’s been an honor to compete at this level.
Respect to every competitor, referee, and team we shared the floor with. Different jerseys, different angles, but we all had to lock in. We gave it our all.

The Final 4 game against Fairhope was a battle but we handled business and advanced to the Championship game.
