If you’re a sports fan, regardless of futbol/soccer preference, there is just something extra special about the *first* goal of each World Cup.

For the life of me I can’t understand how normies got RE-tricked into believing a highly subjective centralized 3rd party authentication system is where they want to put all their eggs.
Immutable provenance will eventually win, it just feels like it’s going to take awhile… 🫠
NFTs will eventually flip the ~$33B Pokémon/Trading Card yearly volume.
We’re currently sitting at $1.9B, that is 37x smaller than Fine Art. If you think you missed the boat, look at the numbers.

I do think it was a massive mistake that Vitalik and Ethereum leadership largely blew off and ignored NFTs which we’re BY FAR the biggest success ETH has ever had by virtually every metic

The last line is the realest thing to take away.
IF you ever have a market liquid enough to sell 100% of a Veblen good collection into. Sell 95% of what you have into it..
Ive been collecting Pokemon first edition sealed boxes and and cards for over 10 years.
Ive ripped open 1st edition boxes on stream, had some crazy pulls, and have loved it since i was a kid....
but in the past weeks I sold 95% of my 1st edition boxes and cards, why?
Because I lived the NFT hype, i lived the memecoin hype, and many more downs.
Im seeing people paying ridiculous prices for things with absurd pop, the level of parabolic price is not sustainable.
this is the "retail is here moment" I kept a few of my personal favorites but all in all, SOLD.
For those buying now with intention to sell, just be careful. When it dries it dries quick, years ago it would have taken me weeks or months to offload my 1st edition things, these arent liquid assets.
