My theory is Scratch invented both of them.
Malice was originally a server bot w claws for legs but was a defect. So Scratch made Kaboodle as an upgrade.
Afraid of being trashed, Malice ate a crystal, went haywire and gained the ability to upgrade herself from a bot to an android

Makes sense. It’s got 4 routes and they’re definitely gonna be vastly different to one another compared to Three Houses’ routes. It’ll probably be more like Fates’s routes.
