Recently customers in our Retirement Living schemes across the Liverpool City Region took part in a lockdown poetry competition. Here are the winners with their prizes!

ALT Poem reads: Lockdown Poem by Brenda Just a lonely old lady with nowhere to go Because COVID-19 made it so So I sit doing crosswords and jigsaws and read And write out a list of what shopping I need I sit by the window till my daughter comes by Stand two metres away and try not to cry And off she goes to the local shops for me To get what I need for my dinner and tea Back she comes no hug or a kiss Most of all that's the thing that I miss But hopefully it will all be over soon And we will all be together in our communal room
