Losing Fable 5, hurt. It was like dropping my daily driver laptop levels of hurt. But Polymarket (I use it for data only, nothing else) says it might come back within a few weeks! Maybe even next week! I hope this is true.

After Fable 5 passed away, life has been different. But my opinion remains the same. gpt5.5 still the best at bug squashing long running tasks Fable 5 is good for 1 shotting Fable 5 is a shotgun gpt5.5 is an LMG.

Insane thing is, Fable 5 is the 1 shot king but debugging, ironing out features, trimming the fat, gpt5.5 is king. This is why when Fable 5 comes back, Ill sub back to Anthropic, but for now its not worth it for me. Im happy they provide prorated refunds, good on them.

Honestly, OpenAI deserved the pro subscription because their models are the best & helped me 20x development progress Very Grateful to Chatgpt 4, 4.5, o1, o3, 5, and especially Codex now πŸ™πŸ™πŸ™

Just tried claude code & codex & WOW. feels exactly like the gpt moment in 2023 personally i prefer codex as openai's models just give better outputs for my line of work rn (and that would be voxel engine development)
