Conservatives have put forward a bill to eliminate the GST off the purchase of used cars so that you keep more of your hard-earned money. Too many families are struggling to make ends meet while being overtaxed by this Liberal government. Canadians need a break.

A used vehicle is taxed every time it’s purchased. Eventually, the government will have taken more in taxes than the car is even worth. The cost of used cars has nearly doubled since 2019. While Canadians are paying more, the Liberals are collecting more in taxes through the GST.

Over and over again, we see soft-on-crime Liberal laws that prioritize the criminal over the rights of their victims and the safety of communities.

Mandatory sentences for a range of violent crimes have been upheld as constitutional by the courts. The Liberals are completely wrong to allow judges to opt-out of issuing mandatory jail sentences for criminals convicted of horrific crimes like robbery with a firearm.

Bill C-232 would have helped to restore Canadians’ confidence in the corrections system. Conservatives will never stop fighting to put the rights of victims and their families first.

The Liberals were forced to announce an extension of the amnesty of their failed gun grab, because their costly useless program has been challenged all the way to the Supreme Court. Law-abiding firearms owners are not the cause of crime in Canada. In fact, virtually every province and territory in Canada is refusing to participate in the Liberal government's buyback program. Yet, instead of scrapping this failed program and focusing instead on stopping criminals, gangs and illegal firearms, the Liberal government fully intends to continue pouring taxpayer dollars into this costly boondoggle that has zero public safety benefit. Why are the Liberals so determined to keep this policy alive? Because this policy was never about public safety — it was about satisfying an ideological agenda.

A Canada worthy of its people.

SHOCKING The Liberals blocked my request for the Privacy Commissioner of Canada to attend the Public Safety Committee in our attempt to fix Mark Carney’s overreaching surveillance Bill C-22. Not a good day for privacy rights in Canada.

Another example of the broken Liberal justice system that turns loose someone who murdered a four year-old by starvation. This monster should never get out of jail.

Today we remember Constables Dave Joseph Ross, Fabrice Georges Gevaudan and, Douglas James Larche. On June 4th, 2014 these police officers lost their lives in the line of duty. We will not forget their dedication and bravery in keeping our community safe.

Canada is now the only G7 country in a recession. Conservatives are calling for an emergency debate in Parliament NOW.

BREAKING: Mark Carney is the ONLY leader in the G7 to lead his economy into a RECESSION. All other G7 countries face the same tariff and global problems, yet none are in a recession. Excuses, speeches, buzzwords, and signing ceremonies do not grow the economy. Canada is the only G7 country in recession because of Carney Liberals hiking industrial carbon taxes, kept anti-development laws, and doubling Trudeau’s deficit.

New Brunswickers deserve relief. Unfortunately, the Liberals just voted against cutting fuel taxes for 2026. They’re not just charging taxes on the skyrocketing price of gas and diesel, they also charge GST on the cost of their taxes. Families can’t afford this government greed!

Great to meet with the Chair of the Insurance Brokers Association of NB, James Higgins, to discuss the governments role in lowering rates and mitigating risks posed by events like flooding and cyberattacks. It’s crucial that families, homeowners, and businesses are protected.
