Am pleased to report on successful gravel cleaning training given to @CamCurat. Fixed black gravel is now good for trout spawning. Water jets and leaf blowers used, just before Babet put an end to our day. Thx to @GreaterCambs and Rob @camcitco for funding. Next tree hinging.

My thx to @Cambswater for fixing a leak on my property.
Mark the inspector, viewed it, and the next day it was fixed by Tom and Adam from @OnSite_Central I now have to take action to replace the worn pipe network within my property.

Have just completed big bed restoration wk to R Mel using 230T of gravel chalk. No more silty ditch, bright stream reborn. Big thx to @SouthCambs drainage team for support on plant and labour, and to @Cambswater MelbournPC for funding. @WildTroutTrust #cleangravelfortrout

Am pleased to say the River Lark now has more wiggles thx to fixed trees pushing flow and 200T gravel. Lots of mini habitats in backwaters. @WildTroutTrust Just add more flow for more wild trout. Thanks to supporters @TheBrecksLP @OuseEcologyEA @river_lark_c_p @HeritageFundUK

Work continues on Mimram. 13 trees felled to make the river wiggle. Today thx to @EAGeomorphology for lending a hand. Brash ledge created to reduce dog access and limit silt input. Flow is low but still workable thk goodness. Grayling seen. @TarmacLtd @panshangerpark @wildtrout
