Wow, some shocks here. I feel Okon Jr will help get the best out of Bos.

Massive respect to a group of players who helped create some great memories for football fans in the region. Saddest to see Kota go. His arrival, followed by Millsy obviously, started this era. A bit surprised by Bracco. Feel for him with that injury!😢 The rest 100% expected.

Surprised not to see Fryer in this one btw…

Fascinated by this one. No doubt he has a big offer on the table. Surely he doesn’t commit anywhere until after the World Cup…
🚨🌕| Auckland’s squad is set to be strengthened next season by the arrival of Lachlan Bayliss (23). ⚡️ [@marcothejourno]

Might as well join the Newcastle speculation… Expect to go: Rose (confirmed), Natta (good on him), Taylor (plz go test yourself in Europe/Asia), Bayliss (sad, but fair play to him), Grozos, Gibson, James, Fryer, Scicluna, Van Dorssen. You listen to offers for Adams and Dobson.

Hope will stay: Kota, Aquilina, Bracco, Nkomo, Nunes, Nassiep. All add value, some ready for a big season.

Bring in: striker (May? dream would be Kota bringing in Takuma Nishimura), defender (JCP?), central midfielder (Rufer?), attacking midfielder (Hollman?). Cockle, Debono, Goodwin on scholarships - more of those to come.

I think I’ll remember this moment for the rest of my life.

So proud of that season. Two trophies, sensational brand of football, took pens to be knocked out of the finals. Won the hearts and minds of the region - by far the biggest crowd of the finals series. We go again next season.

Update: only a couple of wheelchair accessible and resale tix now available. This one is a sell out!
Looks like GA is now sold out. A few seats left in the corners. Think tonight will be a tough game. Only certainty is that Newcastle, with the smallest population of all competing regions, will have the largest crowd of the Finals series. 👏

In 2006, after a lean time on and off the field, a senior FFA exec was said to have told the @NewcastleJetsFC CEO at the time ‘mate, just let it die’. The A-League was less than two years old. But here we are. Premiers.

It’ll be easy for people to quickly move on to the next, to check in on the treble. But this one is special. A first national league regular season title. Generations in the making.

On the brink of dying (again) not long ago, told that parting ways with the last coach and a couple of players would be hugely damaging. But here we are. Premiers. It’s a cliche but this one is truly for the believers. NTUA.
