The winds yesterday really reduced the range of our e-Van but we still managed to collect over 330kg. Thanks @stphilipsleeds, @IPMATAckton, @CarltonPrimary @ChilternPSHull @PenshurstSchool @WeltonPrimary @ElloughtonPS @BroughPrimary @Acreheads7ST and have a great break.

Today we have enjoyed an assembly by Rob from SchoolCycled. He explained lots about plastic- when it was invented, what happens to used plastic and how plastic is recycled. As a school, we are collecting plastic bottle lids so please bring them into school. #SchoolCycled

I have a very odd job sometimes, just finished washing 2kgs of bottle tops before meeting the eco leaders from @KingswoodParksP on Monday. It definitely makes you appreciate the energy that goes into recycling though!

Unfortunately it's far less lovely today than my last day in Durham. On the upside, I've visited some fantastic schools with some amazing facilities and I'm already at my hotel to catch up on some paperwork.
