Why do politicians on the left, like Albanese, always repeat the tired cliché that “there is no room for antisemitism here” following an attack on Jews? The point is that there IS enormous room for antisemitism in our liberals societies, and they helped to create it. Room created by lax immigration screening, and a failure to demand integration. Room created by allowing mobs to take over streets and public spaces while screaming to “globalize the intifada,” “gas the Jews,” waving banners of banned terror groups, etc. Room created by the left’s obsession with critical theory, intersectionality, and anti colonialism, which have created a veneer of intellectual respectability for the ancient hatred, and turned many universities into hotbeds of antisemitism. Room created by actually funding the promotion of Jew hatred, as the Government of Canada has done, in the name of supporting “anti racism” programs (for which no one has been held accountable.) Room created by rewarding Hamas for the 10/7 massacre by recognizing a non-existent Palestinian state. Please spare us the “no room here” lie. Show us you’re serious about reversing course on all of the above, that “zero tolerance for antisemitism” and “never again” actually mean something.

Agreed, @jackmintz. I have directed our officials to consider use of COVID19 tests, vaccines, or medications that have been approved by the high standards of at least one credible peer country’s drug agency, e.g. @EMA_News, @US_FDA. We won’t wait for Health CDA to play catch up
Huh? Hope Health Canada is not getting in the way of provincial health authorities bringing in German and other tests that are already working well. We don't need a national strategy. We need provincial ones as they are carrying the ball anyway.
