.@JohnSwinney has not sacked his Minister who admits to behaviour that clearly breaches the ministerial code.
I’ve therefore written to the First Minister, urging him to refer this matter to the independent advisers on the ministerial code.

If Craig Hoy wants to indulge in childish, attention-seeking letters, he should pay for them himself — not waste public money on staff time, fancy letterheaded paper, and the Permanent Secretary’s attention.
He should repay the costs for this juvenile, and ‘doomed’ request.

Nicola Sturgeon wasted taxpayers’ money on a doomed court case for party political reasons.
That’s a clear misuse of public funds and a clear breach of the ministerial code.
She should repay the money from the proceeds of her book.
