Today's lunch break view. The hills in the distance L to R are Gratton Hill, Narrowdale Hill, Wetton Hill & Ecton Hill. Wolfscote Hill is just out of frame to the left.

Nothing to see here. I'm just taking my swan for a swim. He/she joined me and the dogs for a good mile along the canal this morning. He/she hasn't very chatty, but seemed to appreciate the company 😀

The steepest drivable road in the UK at 36.5%. Used to try and ride my bike up it before it was resurfaced. Always used to lose traction due to the steepness and loose surface.

This was Jasmine (and Meg the lurcher), our rescue oriental who sadly passed away in '24. She loved dogs. We used to foster them and she would make friends with them instantly.

A very friendly visitor in our garden. Hungry and not wearing a collar. Suspecting he's a stray, we took him to the vets. He isn't microchipped, but is in good health. We have posted on a local fb group in case someone's missing him.
