People have been happily installing software from sources they trust for decades. We clicked installers, dragged apps into folders, added package repositories, ran shell scripts, installed browser extensions, and approved OS prompts without reading a fucking thing.
The idea that curl | bash suddenly represents a moral failing is hilarious.
A single command that downloads, configures, and installs software is an incredible achievement. We should appreciate that more often!
