The @planetargon team has shipped 6,000 orders to nerdy devs around the world running the @ohmyzsh merch shop since 2013. Here's what we decided to do with everything we learned. Fulfillment takes real work. Returns, customs holds, lost packages, support queues... it adds up fast. We built the know-how to navigate it all. Most OSS maintainers have way more important things to spend their cycles on. So we started handling it all for them. Hosting, payments, fulfillment, customer support... covered. Maintainers get a healthy cut of every sale, with zero upfront cost. That's how @CommitGoods came to be. We're a few months in, onboarding projects at a pace that works for each maintainer.
