📊 Our latest #UKPoverty report launched this morning. 🔍 14.4 million people were living in poverty in 2021/22 – and our analysis shows that millions of people would need thousands of pounds just to escape poverty. (1/5)

ALT Family of four at the bottom of the frame with text 'The gap in income for families to escape poverty is growing' A line pans up the screen to a pink poverty line while the figure of £6,200 appears as the average equivalised amount for this family type to escape poverty. Final text: It's time to turn the tide on deepening poverty.

Resignation en masse of Sutton PCF due to breakdown of rel’ship with the LA is a sorry state; loss of peer support for carers; loss of independent voice for #SEND families to Ofsted & CQC; loss of valuable lived experience needed for coproduction. Worse outcomes for all…
Another PCF resigning because they can no longer work with their council (@SuttonCouncil). It’s a real shame that the attitude towards parents seems to getting more and more negative right now through no fault of our own @GillianKeegan @david4wantage @helenhayes_

As a parent supported by @suttonparents, a trustee & in my day job, I see the compound impact of failures of trust & collaboration as evidence of increasing need and worsening opportunity for those already at disadvantage. This is the opposite of progress.
