As much as Mills' team seems to enjoy trolling Platner, there is basically zero interest in actually having her replace him as the nominee, among either the Dem primary electorate in Maine or among D.C. Dems, who mostly think she flopped hard as a Senate candidate.
Mills and Platner are almost identical in head to head matchups v. Collins, but both trail a generic Democrat.
