Nice! @asajimd. Glad to see the mastery. In my experience, a well-done TV-Simple can surpass a well-done #HoLEP. Bladder neck advancement reconstitutes the epithelium, allowing primary healing with minimal irritative symptoms and rare short-term incontinence.

In 2017, a 1st yr college student, I shadowed Dr. Ahmed & watched my 1st RALP. He was always a great teacher (even to premed students) & was my first intro to urology.
Today, Dr. Ahmed taught me, a 1st yr resident, robotics techniques for the same case. This is living the dream!

We routinely perform 8 cases. Once the anatomy is fully mastered, SP/MP RALP can be completed in under 50 minutes. Even when teaching residents or fellows, it can be done in under 80 minutes while still achieving excellent trifecta outcomes. Welcome to observe.
When I was in residency, we used to try to do 3 robotic cases by 3 PM… that was our golden target. Fast forward to the age of SP surgery and now the target has moved to 6 by 6 PM. ALL OUTPATIENT. The right tool in the right hands…grateful for those who made it possible

After nearly 4 years working within a large healthcare system, I made the decision to take a different path.
Today was DAY 1 of building something of my own.
I decided to start my own private practice with one clear purpose: to put patients first always. Not driven by systems, quotas, or accepting burnout as the norm, but focused on doing what's right for each individual.
My goal is simple: to provide high-quality urological care where patients feel heard, respected, and never rushed.
Grateful for the journey so far and even more excited for what's ahead.
