Crazy idea... how about just celebrating that USC and ND are talking about renewing the rivalry?
Circumstances, accusations and speculations are well known and honestly have little to no real bearing on the current discussions. Just get it back in a way that works for both.

Credit to South Carolina for coming out ferocious and ready. But USC looks like a deer in headlights. Careless turnovers, stagnant offense and watching the ball instead of boxing out - not a great recipe.

I have to say it is pretty cool that a USC QB and an ND TE connected on the most improbable TD of the season to send it to OT.
Kudos to that TE for going deeper when most others would have come up field. He *knew* Caleb could make that throw.

Smart for SC would have been treating bowl like spring to give young guys opportunity - including Longstreet starting. Then no matter the outcome there'd be plenty to be optimistic about.
Instead it was a week of wondering about the DC and more questions than answers. Again.

Funny how ND announces a contract extension the same day that USC has their head coach getting asked about the rivalry during a press conference for the Alamo Bowl.
Opting out of a bowl game meant this is something Marcus didn't have to do. 🤔
