He's the Karamyogin, like Arjuna entering the battlefield with Krishna on his side, ready for selfless service. The Gita is one of the most profound scriptures. It's about 5000 years old. Its wisdom has had a profound impact on me. I'm still reading it. Sri Aurobindo's "Essays on the Gita" is also an excellent addition. P.S. Some ignorant fundamentalist Christians will probably have an issue with it since it's not the bible, and that it represents idolatry. I'd argue that they would not even have the consciousness level to begin comprehending the Gita.
