Finally legacy automakers are saying EV is the future. People are holding off on purchasing gas cars. Elon just gave the world a reason to only purchase Tesla EVs by giving a massive price cut. Is this the ultimate Checkmate move on Legacy auto makers? @elonmusk @TroyTeslike ?

@ricfulop would love to hear directly from you how $DM is faring in the current volatile economy? I.e are โ€œall lights greenโ€ still in terms of adoption growth.

Fwiw, still a firm believer in DM. That wonโ€™t change.

โฆ@ricfulopโฉ I can totally see this being printed by a Desktop Metal machine at a lower cost with less wastage. $dm

$dm #desktopmetal has been hitting revenue goals without P-50 sales (other than the initial first), imagine once P-50 strategic opportunities start contributing revenue? What will it mean to the stock price then? Looking forward to the future ๐Ÿš€@ricfulop

Quoting @ricfulop from his interview at the Stifel 2022 Cross Sector Insight Conference. I kept thinking of Apple here considering their emphasis on creating sustainable product end-to-end lifecycle perspective. Huge opportunity here. Talk about hyper scalers here!๐ŸŽ ๐Ÿ˜œ $dm

#Crypto is the most deceptive and profitable #Ponzi scheme in the history of mankind.

#Desktopmetal, in the past year, has turned their business from a one trick pony, into a vastly different company. They are now completely disrupting the casting, dental health, and 3D metal production industry. $dm has never been so undervalued.

Very key point as it relates to the higher than expected cash burn Q1 22

Since Q4โ€™21 we are driving manufacturing in a โ€œjust in caseโ€ mode vs โ€œjust in timeโ€ mode. This costs more on the short term but we reduce risks to making our top line numbers due to supply chain issues. Having some inventory also helps get product out faster as we scale

Everyone one should read this long thread by @ricfulop to better understand what Desktop Metal $dm is focused on in the short term and where they are headed in the long term. I recommend reading the whole threadโ€ฆ super insightful.
Hardest thing in tech is durability so we focus at DM in creating a durable compounding growth business with an eye towards reaching $1B in revenue in โ€˜25 and double digit share of the $100B plus additive manufacturing market by end of the decade. We are focused on market share.

@ricfulop how does the P-50 compare a quad laser based metal printer in terms of overall speed and per part cost in a mass provision type use case? Thanks! $dm

The fact that $dm owns the metal binder jet space, among others, and only had a market cap of $564M, blows my mind away.
