Rick Cluff was a friend and one of my greatest career mentors. Wonderfully personable. Masterful storyteller. And such a captivating, conversational style…one couldn’t help but listen. Rest in peace, Cluffer. cbc.ca/news/canada/british-c…

Dutchy was a friend, a colleague and the lifeblood of TSN for nearly 30 years And one of the funniest, most original people I’ve ever known. One of a kind. His death makes me profoundly sad. But his memory will always make me smile. Rest in peace, Dutch.

The tragedy going on at @SFU is about so much more than football. That said, this program is placed more players in @CFL than any other. So on the night of the #CFLdraft, I felt this needed to be said. @sfufbalumni @SFUFBBoosters #SaveSFUfootball

Saddened to hear about the passing of longtime TSN camera operator, Tim Moses. Travelled thousands of miles together covering hundreds of events. Easy going and an ability to fall asleep anywhere, Tim helped make pressure packed deadlines manageable. Will miss you, Moses.

Couldn’t be prouder of my long-time colleague, mentor and friend Jon Hynes for this richly deserved honour; nobody has a greater knowledge of and love for the CFL than Hynesy. That he’s going in the HOF alongside our dearly departed buddy Schultzy makes it all the sweeter RIP#67

At this time of year, especially, I remember my grandfather Frederick, who fought in the trenches of Passchendaele in WWI…and of my late father George, who landed on Juno Beach in 1944. #myfamilyinuniform #RemembranceDay

…I also think of the uncle I never met, my Dad’s big brother Bill, who never made it home. And I try to imagine my grandparents’ pain when they got this telegram. To all who’ve served and sacrificed for this country, we remember. #myfamilyinuniform #RemembranceDay
