RIP Jim Brown. One of the NFL’s greatest players, not to mention an all-around athlete. Regarded as probably the greatest lacrosse player ever. He was also a patriotic American. Never would’ve knelt during the anthem. Anyone challenging him for that would’ve been KO’d.

The Ohio Supreme Court has ruled against Oberlin College in its appeal of a judgment in favor of Gibson's Bakery. Oberlin is ordered to pay damages of $36 million for defaming the Gibson family as "racists."

Today up at our town square I saw some young people wearing masks similar to the one V wears in V For Vendetta. Thought a little early for Halloween. When I saw them get in their vehicle, I noticed several written phrases on it. Not complimentary to the current regime in the WH.

Please pray for father Randy. It’s been a tough year for him health wise. In and out of the hospital and nursing home. Has a bad case of shingles and today found out his melanoma cancer has returned.

Yesterday a family in my parish asked for prayer for a family member named Victor who had been missing for three days. Sadly he was found dead in Cleveland today in a suspected murder. Pray for this family. They are obviously devastated .
