We’re dropping fuel prices by a further 5.7¢ per litre. Combined with the 26.3¢ excise cut, that’s a total saving of 32¢ per litre.

That's why State and Territory leaders have this morning agreed to fund a further 5.7 cent reduction in the fuel excise.

This will mean cheaper fuel for families, farmers and business and comes on top if the 26.3 cent reduction funded by the Commonwealth Government.
It will be funded through the return of up to $400 million in GST and will last until 30 June.

The appointment of a Fuel Security State Controller and establishment of a State Management Team will facilitate coordination across both State Government agencies and with the Commonwealth Government, in the delivery of WA’s fuel security response.
