Thanks! 2.99 Clover Fun with bunnies and a baby squirrel! Clover loves to share in a rhyming manner what he likes to eat and how he and other bunny rabbits play. amazon.com/Clover-Mary-L-Sch… "Clover" is ideal for babies snuggled up at story time or early readers exploring on their own. It introduces young minds to the everyday wonders of animals. Children learn what rabbits eat, how they create shelter, and which animals make good playmates and which should be avoided. The story’s presentation in a rhyming, friendly voice makes it ideal for reading aloud, while the familiar backyard setting invites children to explore and notice the wildlife around them. Mary L. Schmidt succeeds in combining charming storytelling with practical lessons, creating a sweet bridge between imaginative play and environmental awareness. Clover is a thoughtful and heartwarming book that offers young readers a window into the small, busy lives of rabbits, encouraging a love for animals and an early connection to the natural world around them. As a rabbit lover, I found this book most educational and entertaining. #BooksWorthReading #Bookboost #kidlit #rabbit #bookgiveaway #bookrecommendations #bookstagram #booktok #amreading #bookworm #RabbitHole #bunny #bookstagram

From The Lighthouse Murders: One fateful day, as I returned home from my routine run along the serene beachfront, a sinister force interrupted my innocent excursion. An older man, with a guise that seemed harmless enough, approached stealthily from behind. In an instant, without any forewarning, he thrust me to the ground, ripping away the layers of my innocence as he forcefully yanked up my shirt. In a harrowing moment that seemed to last an eternity, he violated me-an act so brutal that it defied all comprehension. This atrocious event unfolded just a stone's throw from my home in Seal Beach, a quaint cottage shared with my older sister, Jean. We inherited this refuge seventeen years prior, after the tragic demise of our parents in a skiing accident amidst the breathtaking yet unforgiving Swiss Alps. The ramifications of the assault were profound, irrevocably altering my very essence in ways that went beyond the physical. It was as if time itself blurred, stretching the experience into an excruciating tapestry of pain. I fought desperately against my attacker, my resistance a futile gesture against his overpowering strength. Once he had taken what he wanted from me, he rose to his feet and casually zipped up his pants. Before my very eyes, the transformation was almost surreal. The man, once frail and gray, seemed to shed years in the blink of an eye. He morphed into a younger incarnation of himself, his muscular frame reformed, dark blue eyes gleaming with a predatory hunger, and bouncy curls of raven hair cascading past his shoulders. The sheer absurdity of his metamorphosis dulled my senses, and I slipped into unconsciousness, unable to process what had just happened to me. When I finally regained consciousness, I was cradled by the cloak of darkness. Confusion washed over me as I gingerly began to assess my surroundings. Leaves clung to my hair, and I winced as I brushed my trembling fingers against my bloodied knees. The twilight settled around me, thick and oppressive, as I gathered the remnants of my shattered composure and began the tentative journey back to the sanctuary I called home. wattpad.com/story/395570264?…

New blog post today about how the Frank Leland mystery series is evolving. While Book 2, THE BETRAYAL OF DANNY PRYOR, is now with beta readers, Book 3 has already started taking shape. SNOWBLIND is set during the aftermath of New York City’s Blizzard of 1978❄️ and begins with a seemingly minor road-rage incident that leaves a young child dead. The new post explores how the series has grown from a single noir novel into an interconnected look at crime, justice, and moral consequence in late-1970s New York City — and how each case is slowly shaping Frank Leland himself. Here’s an early look at the cover art for Book Three: SNOWBLIND. 👉billkriegermysteries.com/blo… #amwriting #crimefiction #noir #writingcommunity #NYC
