I’m….I’m so sorry you went through that traumatic experience, Marc. I’m glad you’re okay now. You can always join me later, too, if you want. Honestly I’m just going to float for a bit, the heat is nice and it’ll really help me loosen up. ( Flashing him a wide grin as —
mmh , when I was 8 I almost drowned . I never learned how to swim after that cause I was scared . I'm not scared of water anymore but I have a great respect so I'll just put my feet in and you can have a nice swim , okay 𖤠 〔 he finished his food . 〕

— he, too, finished his meal and drank the last of his ice water. )

( Head tilting a little to the side, blinking slowly at him. ) Well, that’s okay! I’m sure we could stay in the shallow end, I don’t mind at all. Water is pretty good for your joints, too, helps my hips a lot. That’s if you want to, no pressure. I don’t want you to be —
no no no , I didn't mean " we " . I meant you can go for a swim . uhm . . . I — 〔 is it embarrassing for a full grown man to admit that he can't swim 𖤠 〕 I can't swim . . .

Aww, you think I’m adorable…. ( Chewing in thought for a moment. He wouldn’t mind a dip in the pool for a little while ) I would love that, actually. Can we? For a little bit?
a very adorable crab actually . 〔 Marc continued to eat with a smile . 〕 do you wanna go for a swim before going to bed or straight to bed after eating 𖤠
70
….maybe it’s both. I am a crab, after all. A very grateful crab. ( Hiding his smile behind has garlic bread and salad. His cheeks have gotten a shade redder, too )
〔 Marc chuckled . 〕 are you getting red or is it a sunburn already 𖤠 〔 he teased with a little wink before taking a sip of the water . 〕
66
Thank you for bringing me! I…wouldn’t have gone anywhere by myself. This is wonderful, thank you, seriously. ( His cheeks were a little pink when he grabbed a helping of the bread, covering it with a thin layer of the salad before he bit into it )
〔 Marc finished setting the table before sitting down . 〕 thank you and enjoy our first real meal of this vacation . 〔 he got some bread and some salad , digging in with a little smile . 〕

Yep, works for me! I didn’t really want to put sunscreen back on anyway. ( Benoit filled two glasses with ice and water and brought them outside to the table, setting one at Marc’s spot )
preferably shade to be honest . would that be okay 𖤠 〔 Marc grabbed some plates and carried everything outside . 〕
68
Yes! I’d love to! Do you want to sit under the shade or in the sun? ( He’ll definitely need to put more sunscreen on anyway, he covered just enough earlier )
〔 and into the oven for a few minutes again while he's mixing the salad and doooone . 〕 wanna eat outside 𖤠

( Benoit followed Marc’s instructions to a T, it was a little funny to watch how concentrated he was as he worked. He’d come a long way since the first time he set fire to his own kitchen…. ) This is going to taste so fucking good, babe. I really can’t wait!
〔 Marc put the bread in the oven for a few minutes to get in crispy . he then handed it to Benoit . 〕 just rub the garlic on it and add some salt and pepper . 〔 meanwhile he did the dressing for the salad . 〕
76
Can do! I won’t take too long! ( He washed his hands first before he washed the salad ingredients, gentle as he pressed them dry on a clean towel. He made quick work of peeling the garlic after that, careful with the knife. )
how about you peel the garlic and wash the salad , I'll prepare the rest . 〔 he got everything they needed and turned the oven on before cutting some tomatoes and other veggies for the salad then preparing the bread of the oven . 〕
65
That sounds 𝙙𝙚𝙡𝙞𝙘𝙞𝙤𝙪𝙨. Direct me, Master Chef, I will be your kitchen help ( <—— huge fan of garlic, his favourite ingredient. Benoit isn’t even sure where his phone actually is…. )
how about a fresh salad with some garlic bread 𖤠 〔 he's already enjoying this vacation . finally no stress , his phone is turned off and everything is good . 〕
57
We could make a salad, or pasta. Or pizza? Pizza can be light, depending on what we put in the toppings ( He stood up and followed after him, flip-flops padding softly against the deck )
maybe something light and fresh 𖤠 I'm not necessarily hungry but we only had those sandwiches today . 〔 he shrugged before walking into the kitchen , checking the fridge . 〕

That sounds like a wonderful idea, what were you thinking of for dinner? ( Closing his book after marking the page by folding the corner down. Sitting up with a little groan because his back cracked ) I think jetlag got me, too
I'm still tired but it might be the jetlag , to be honest . how about we cook dinner together and then call it a day 𖤠 we have two weeks , after all . 〔 he's smiling at Benoit . 〕
92
You did? Thank you, mon coeur, I think you saved me and my skin. ( Little smile, turning his face after to kiss him softly ) Did you sleep well?
around 6 pm , you slept for hours . I hope you didn't get a sunburn , I tried moving you . 〔 he went over , giving him a kiss on the cheek . 〕
86
( Benoit slept for far longer than Marc had. By the time he woke up, his book had slid off his chest and onto the floor beside him. He was a little disoriented when his eyes focused on the sunshield above him. ) ….what time is it? ( Mumbling whilst rubbing his eyes )
〔 well , Marc didn't sleep for long and once he woke up , he moved the sunshild over to Benoit so he wouldn't get sunburnt but he let him sleep . 〕

I’ll train with him for free if you want, I don’t mind at all
oh, i see, that makes more sense … i suppose i could pay one of our rookies to go out and train with him …
