Apparently, MS studios who had been told in the past that layoffs wouldn’t affect them are getting a different message now after the recent announcements – formerly “safe” studios now are telling employees they aren't sure how the management changes will impact the studio. Lot of uncertainty, even with studios who have had steady releases under MS. Not sure if/when layoffs are coming, but if you think you might be affected, let me know here or on DMs and I’ll signal blast any resumes or job offers I can. <3

I see stuff about Agarthan aliens going around. So I might as well use it as an opportunity to push my world lore a bit more. Meet the moon elves: They're a mix of Grays and Agarthan aliens. Black Sclera with golden eyes and light gold hair, gray skin. Much taller than the average human due to their moon home having lower gravity making them a bit lanky. They're a very noble and graceful people who often cover their body with runes that help them channel and covert magic more efficiently. I really love black sclera with gold eyes as a side note.

Time to take some flak, but I agree with this. Steam has a control on the market, it may be because other stores aren't as great - but they won't let you sell your games for less on other stores. If you try, they kick you off steam. So if I want to sell a game for $20 steam game for 17 on Itch I can't. Why would I want to sell it for less there? Itch takes 10% while steam takes 30% At $20 on steam they take $6 So I get $14.00. If I sell the same game on itch for $17 they get $1.70 so I keep $15.30. Makes me a dollar thirty extra which adds up per sale. If I tried to do that as is, steam would twist my arm and remove me off their store. Sure I probably will sell more on steam, but it sucks to deal with. And yes, there is the ability to sell steam keys, but what if someone wants it on a different platform than steam? It is one of the few things I really dislike about steam. The 30% cut they take and the ability to prevent me for selling it for less elsewhere. pcgamer.com/gaming-industry/…

Was cleaning up and found something interesting. My old 90s PC with the external CD drive you pushed into the spring loader with Ultima VI / Wing Commander. The Software Toolworks logo whenever I saw it on a game I knew I was going to have a great time as a kid.

can a blender head help? im gonna pull my hair out im using mtoon shaders in blender so that i can easily make textures with alpha transparency but even though i have nearest neighbor scaling on, most of the faces on my texture look fine but there is about four that appear to

I now have a sort of functioning grid system. I think I'll need to make it even better but it works with corner tiles for walls and wall tiles. I'll probably end up having to make a data array that sets graphics for tiles and builds sets based on one another if i wanna do RNG maps.

Gelatinous Cubes are probably one of the easiest creatures to make and animate too. Its just a cube with a few bones and if you really want it to be responsive and interesting maybe 12-16 bones. This was one of the first things I ever made and animated as a monster. I really don't know why they needed to mocap a cube as funny as it is that's overkill.
