I have long said that Coker extension was coming. Why?
Ikems contract is going to tell us a lot, including Rasheed Walkers. The team had to pay Coker NOW, so they can use him to the fullest extent.
Cokerβs agent could have slow rolled this in hopes of a big season.

This contract was the team betting that they wouldn't have the ability to re-sign all their key players. If Carolina had gotten a 1st round WR, Coker wouldn't be signing the deal
I'm happy for both sides as I believe Coker is a true WR2 with WR1 upside at times
