It takes a monster to kill children. But to watch monsters kill children again and again and do nothing isn’t just insanity—it’s inhumanity.

The bad faith of so many entrusted to guide, protect, and serve us keeps getting us killed. It’s their choice for us to live this way. Faith without works is death.
Tuesday's shooting in Uvalde, Texas was the deadliest at a U.S. grade school since the attack at Sandy Hook Elementary nearly a decade ago. Dozens of students have been killed in shootings since then, including today's which killed 14 children. apne.ws/6AgfBpC

White supremacy is not a mental illness. It’s an ideology encouraged by the Republican party, gun manufacturers and Christian nationalists. And it’s made deadly in America because those same groups have ensured dangerous people have easy access to arsenals. Buffalo

A 18-year-old white man drove hours to Buffalo and shot and killed multiple people at a grocery store in a predominately Black community. That is the definition of terrorism

I came from a working-class family. My parents took out Plus Loans & desperate to make something of myself I took out 10s of 1000s in student loans. After repaying many multiples of my original debt, at 45 I finally paid them off. I’d wish that on no one coming behind me.

Senator Lana Theis accused me by name of grooming and sexualizing children in an attempt to marginalize me for standing up against her marginalizing the LGBTQ community...in a fundraising email, for herself. Hate wins when people like me stand by and let it happen. I won't.

Don’t get me wrong- the nomination of Judge KBJ is a historic moment. But why are we normalizing a Black woman being verbally & emotionally abused by a committee for the public to see? Why are we applauding composure during abuse? Why must Black women suffer to make history?

A few weeks ago, parents, activists and educators in a red state where Republicans hold a legislative supermajority successfully beat back an anti-history (CRT) law, & yet I saw no national coverage of it at all. This says something important about media. indystar.com/story/news/educ…
