A 26ft. 35,000 lbs statue has arrived at Memorial Park this morning. Its inspired by the iconic “soldier kiss” photo taken at the end of WWII Called “Embracing Peace.” Look for it on your next visit! It’ll be here through November 15! #Omaha #WorldWarII #history

Right now dozens of Plattsmouth students are protesting a recent decision to remove books from the school’s library. Many focus on LGBTQ and racial topics.
