It's now been over six years since I did some redactions to turn part of The Mueller Report Vol. 2, Page 147 into The Fairy Tale (an erasure "poem"). cah.ucf.edu/floridareview/ar…

Listening to @pswordwoman read the poems in her latest collection and when she delivered "Medusa," I was floored. Wow. Bravo.

That would not have been the category where I would've searched for "The Wizard of Oz," but it makes perfect sense. A tornado struck and craziness ensued ...

Thanks to Clayjar Review for including my poem "I Am No Saint" in their uplifting with lightness Mirth issue. "I am hesitant / to head outside in the sunshine, / as if the robins might jump me." clayjar.review/issues/mirth/…

This is why I love poetry. With this title, I expected a liberal (and trite) longing for back then, but @sashadm is skillful and had me actually saying "wow" when I got to the end. newyorker.com/magazine/2025/…

Well, it took longer than the planned two years, but I completed following along with @The_Millions project The William Trevor Reader. @AdamOPrice gave insights into the 85 stories and the short story craft along the way. Trevor was a master but his stories could be be bleak.

When you see @Danez_Smif and Jericho Brown are gonna be at the poetry reading - talking about Langston Hughes - you know it's gonna be good. And it was! Thanks, Charis Books @chariscircle for making the Atlanta event virtual too. Poet @WJLofton1 also showed his talents.

Well, for Thanksgiving I innocently read what @AdamOPrice notes could be one of the darkest stories ever written. Glad I didn't read William Trevor's "Events at Drimaghleen" first thing on the holiday. themillions.com/2023/06/the-…
