Worth the $8 turnpike fees and 99 degree weather to check out the renovations by @ce_golf @RonWhittenGD and @MammothBuilt. Nowhere else will you find a 1906 Bendelow with design expansion by @LangfordMoreau and Perry Maxwell overhaul. Topeka CC is one of the best in the state.

From my view, Jay Monahan will go down in history as the Neville Chamberlain of golf. Peace in our time in professional golf? I don't think so. For instance, any tour attempt to condition reapplication by LIV golfers on the cancellation of their guaranteed LIV money would result

loss of some smaller tournaments, like the John Deere Classic, which deserves better. And with PIF the new Big Money in PGA Tour golf, what becomes of Fed Ex's involvement? My prediction: By 2025, tour players will be competing in the season-long chase for the PIF Cup.

The Whitten family is heartbroken to report the death of our beloved Sarah Whitten, daughter/sister/aunt & mother to 5-year-old Harper. Sarah passed away Dec. 30, 2021. We'll miss her immense creativity, quick wit, infectious laugh and especially her love.

One last look at the glorious contours and colors of wide, playable, fun Corica Park North. Front 9 should be opened for preview play by August. Back 9 is in various stages of construction. Slow going when you’re trucking in thousands of truckloads of soil and sand.

Only seven bunkers on the front nine, but with vertical faces of artificial turf and interesting shapes, they make a statement. This is the par 5 2nd, in the opposite direction as the par-5 5th at Corica Park North.

And here’s the barranca as it curves around the front and right side of the 7th green. Entire site is fill of 5 to 15 feet, which allows Marc to really be creative in contours.

I’m proud to say I’m serving as a “design editor” to Marc Logan at Corica Park North. This is a meandering barranca I suggested be built down the middle of the 7th fairway.

Marc is using Santa Ana Bermuda for everything except greens and he and sup’t Vinny have it dialed in (on both this and the Rees Jones South Course) to play firm and fast with gorgeous hues of green and gold.

Test drove the front 9 at Corica Park North, a wonderful design by Marc Logan, intended to be an Australian Sandbelt layout in Alameda, Calif. no flags on greens yet, but fully grassed and ready to play. This is hole 1.
