Finished reading When She Comes Back by @RonitPlank two nights ago. For me, a good book instantly puts you in the protagonist's shoes and allows you to relate it to your own life, even if you've not experienced something similar. Fantastic read💙

Writing memoir can be a kind of empowerment, a taking control of one's narrative. Even if we can't go back & stop
what happened in traumatic times, being able to be the architect of how we render our experience changes us & can be healing.
