Today I was granted access to speak with incarcerated firefighters.
They told me:
- they hadn’t showered in 5 days
- they were not provided regularly meals
- they were working 24 hours in a row
- they feel under appreciated and underpaid

Meet the latest addition to the family! His name is Bun (short for Cinnamon Bun) and he's 18-20 years old. Like Tulip, he lost his BFF in December, so he's come to live with us. Hopefully he and Tulip will be best friends (currently in quarantine). He LOVES to cuddle!
