One can almost visualise the offices of EC, SC & LS Speaker furiously working round-the-clock trying to figure out how the rules can be interpreted, twisted, bent & gamed to allow the ruling regime to get away with this brazen & unconstitutional stealing of the democracy…🙄
No issue as long as Gyanesh is around.

This Hindu RW project of trying to cast the iconic Dancing Girl in the image of their own prejudices, ignorance & patriarchy has been underway for a while now… 🙄 I remember tweeting about it 3 years ago…!👇

Goodness. Not only has the Dancing Girl been clothed (rather garishly one might add), her skin colour has also been transformed and made suitably ‘fair’…. 🙄

Disgusting and almost vulgar to see the Head of a country, laughing enjoying the celebrations while his country is going thru so many difficulties. Demonic😡😡😡 @mssakshinarula
The cringe circus continues in Slovakia. Only 9200 people of Indian origin live in Slovakia. I have not seen such events organised for Americans in other countries when Trump visits. Politicians are not celebrities. They have taken this image management too far.

A new study identified 523 Hindutva pop hate songs across YouTube, Spotify, Apple Music, and Meta’s Music Library that violate each platform’s own content policies by promoting hatred, dehumanisation, and incitement to violence against religious minorities, primarily Muslims and Christians. maktoobmedia.com/share/11572…

Good analysis. Curious though why, when POTUS can be named, why is India’s PM, who has been mistaking “proximity” “access” & “visibility”(aka photo-ops, hugs, medals & orders) for diplomacy and is squarely responsible for what we’ve come to, not named even once…?🤔

The whole circus routine - playing on a loop since the travel bans lifted 🙄(cringe song-&-dance, delirious diaspora on-demand, obscure “honours”, dodgy barter-deals for cronies) - used to be annoying… Now they’re just laughable (and you can sense the whole world laughing 🤦🏻‍♀️)…

Dear Shri Mohan Bhagwat ji, My letter will reach you shortly. However, I thought it was important to draw your attention to this matter early. ——————————- Firstly, congratulations to the RSS on completing 100 years. An organisation that claims over 60,000 shakhas and crores of swayamsevaks must also uphold transparency and constitutional accountability. As per RSS’ highest and most important decision making body Akhil Bharatiya Pratinidhi Sabha’s 2025–26 Karnataka report, the RSS has 4,127 daily shakhas, 1,389 weekly milans, 60 monthly mandalis, 2,194 Samajotsavas with 19.61 lakh participants and held 562 route marches with 2.21 lakh uniformed participants in the state. With such scale and influence, the RSS must clarify its legal status, registration, office bearers, funding, expenditure, taxation and permissions for public activities. If citizens, labour, NGOs, trusts, temples and companies are expected to register, disclose and comply with the law, why should the RSS remain exempt? In its centenary year, the RSS must responsibly abide by the Constitution and register, disclose, pay applicable taxes and function transparently within the Constitution. As suggested in my letter, I am looking forward to hearing from @RSSorg soon. @DrMohanBhagwat @RSSorg

It's the majoritarian goons who threaten and assault minorities with full impunity from law, who are maligning the character of the nation, not those who report on these incidents.
"You are maligning the character of the nation by saying Muslims are not safe in India" says @KirenRijiju Here one of many such incidents from India. A Bajrang Dal goon Ganesh Vanzara and his associates from Naroda, Ahmedabad, Gujarat, intimidating a Muslim migrant from Uttar Pradesh and ordering him to vacate his rented home in a predominantly Hindu locality. Those present can be seen cheering and celebrating the act. The accused is himself proudly sharing this video on his Instagram account because he very well knows, Police will take no action against him. Home Minister @sanghaviharsh will not ask police to take action against the goons. Such acts of intimidation have become so normalized that even Media doesn't bother to highlight these incidents. Local Politicians don't want to comment on such issues as it will hurt their vote bank. Sorry @KirenRijiju, If I have maligned the Nation by highlighting the fact.

This was a blunder committed by previous governments. They should have sought all the formal details required for running an NGO or the so-called cultural organisation. How can any organisation be allowed to function without its sources of income not known to the state? Hiding behind religion is no option.
"RSS doesn't need registration, Hindu Dharma doesn't need to be registered. RSS is not secretive , we openly tell people about the Sangh, govt is aware of the RSS & hasn't asked us to register in 100 years" Sarsanghchalak Dr Mohan Bhagwat on RSS registeration debate.

“Three-child families need to become a mainstream choice.” In a country that can’t offer a basic living standard to 95% population? Where are the jobs? Schools & colleges? Hospitals? Enough water? Clean air? Deeply regressive to ask our daughters to live like our grandmas…
My op-ed on bringing back larger families. I love the photo choice! TOI Edit Page : Hum do, humare teen: A case for bringing back bigger families timesofindia.indiatimes.com/…

Do the ruling party bosses & their minions in the ED etc agencies have something - a ‘blackmail’ dossier - on each one of them…?? It certainly looks like there’s an invisible gun on their heads…

What an absolute farce…! Fair to assume that all “institutions” - Speaker, EC, Courts - will happily play along with these corrupt shenanigans…? And as for their constituents who voted for these MPs for their anti-BJP platform - Who cares about them!
Rebel TMC MPs Announce Merger With Little-Known ‘Nationalist Citizen Party of India’ in Bid to Avoid Legal Hurdle @SravastiDasgup2✍️ thewire.in/politics/rebel-tm…

What’s this party even?? They “merged” with an obscure party to circumvent the rules? After #VoteChori & SeatChori (eg in MP RS seat), now engineering ParliamentMajorityChori…? Yes, serious questions must be asked… But about India’s future under NM & What next for India… :(
First the state Assembly. Now the Lok Sabha. Rebel TMC MPs, who broke ranks after the party’s crushing defeat in Bengal, have merged with the Nationalist Citizens Party and are extending support to the NDA. Barely a month since losing power in the Assembly, the Trinamool Congress is facing its deepest crisis yet, key parliamentarians walking away, internal unity fracturing, and serious questions about the party’s future under Mamata Banerjee. Bengal’s political landscape is changing fast. The ground beneath is shifting. What next for Trinamool?
