@HOFRitualsB when a customer rings yr branch after buying goods & leaving, but then has a notification from her bank that the transaction did not go through. Pls do not harangue her for trying to pay over the phone when she cannot get back to the branch for several days …/1

@HOFRitualsB I was trying to do the honest thing, I could have walked away and not contacted you. I did not appreciate the grilling as to why I could not return immediately. I will, of course pay, but am saddened by the response of your staff when I tried to do the right thing.

This evening, I have one hope for @ZelenskyyUa, that he gets a decent night's sleep in his own bed. I can only imagine how exhausting the last week has been, let alone the last three years... sleep well Mr President, we are here to support you and the Ukraine.

I am a #waspiwomen & want to say that I am more than disappointed on the gov't's stance on the Ombudsman's view that compensation is due to us. The lack of communication is an error on their part, well documented and proven. The honest thing to do would be to pay up asap.

I received no letter or communication from DWP until a couple of months before my 66th birthday, so please stop saying we were informed. We were not, I think that is the sort of news I might remember. #waspiwomen

My dinner table is covered in "stuff", tonight I am going to clear it, change the flowers and the table cloth, and put the new Christmas decs in the Christmas cupboard. Why am I telling you this, because if I write it down, I really have to do it.

I should add that at the beginning of the war my father was in the Irish Navy but subsequently moved to the RAF being demobbed in 1958.
