One death is too many deaths
Medical training shouldn’t be hazing.
I pray one day medicine culture changes from academic hazing mindset to a true wellness mindset.

Nakita was a classmate of mine, and an inspiration to all those who knew and worked with her.
She deserved better, and was working to improve the lives of all residents and trainees.
RIP Dr. Nakita Mortimer.
