I miss when meetings used to start gently. ‘Hello, nice to meet you’ ‘How was your journey’ ‘Would you like a drink’ You’d shake hands & get a hint of personality, of mood. Now it’s straight from one to the next. No conversation. It’s all a bit wham-bam brutal.
