In the spring of 1817, Daniel McKay became the first blacksmith in Sherbrooke (New Ross). This weekend come to Ross Farm Museum and learn why the blacksmith was such an important part of the community and why they remained so well into the 20th century. - rossfarm.novascotia.ca/
